Wireless hotspot connected but no internet

I am using OnePlus 6 for a week now. My laptop is connected through WiFi hotspot but there's no internet access. What could be wrong? smart TV connected to router but not the internet

I believe there should be a way to enable internet on it or else the whole point of providing virtual wifi on the emulator seems to be waste.
